The 2011 MM&M Awards: A Night of Medical Marketing and Merrymaking

Posted by Anne Pratt at 11:44 am, October 20, 2011

Kerry Hilton is no stranger to presenting awards at MM&M.

The Medical Marketing & Media (MM&M) Awards are always a prime opportunity to see the best of the best work in our industry. These prestigious awards honor exceptional creativity and marketing effectiveness in healthcare. From professional to consumer, print to social media, this year’s show was once again jam-packed with compelling campaigns.

The black tie event was held last week at Cipriani 42nd Street in New York City. We were immediately greeted by trays of hors d’oeuvres and champagne, and soon we were toasting with all the major players in the industry. It was clear that this was not only an awards presentation, but also an evening to celebrate what we all feel so passionately about—healthcare marketing and advertising.

Sporting a swanky tuxedo, our own Kerry Hilton presented the award for Best TV Advertisement/Campaign to RAPP and Humana Medicare. Their TV spot featuring adorable grandchildren and grandparents talking about Medicare definitely deserved this prestigious award.

HCB Health’s “Badonkadonk” campaign was nominated in the Best Overall Consumer Print Campaign category. While this campaign has won other awards, we did not take home the coveted MM&M. However, we felt extremely honored to be nominated alongside some of the best healthcare agencies in the nation.

Take a look at the 2011 winners here. And get ready for the 2012 Awards – MM&M is already taking submissions.

See you next year!
