HCB Health won seven awards at this year’s Rx Club Exhibition and Awards Ceremony, an international competition recognizing creative excellence in medical advertising.

We claimed top prize in the direct-to-consumer print category, winning a silver medal for “VASER it,” a campaign created for Sound Surgical Technologies’ VASER body shaping systems. The campaign also won an Award of Excellence in the Integrated Campaigns category, continuing a winning streak that began in April when “VASER it” received a MANNY award from the editors of Med Ad News for the best medical device campaign of 2011.
We won four additional Awards of Excellence in this year’s Rx Club competition, including two for magazine ads and one for a direct mail campaign supporting Alcon ophthalmic surgical brands.
Our other two Rx Club Awards of Excellence were given for Texas Oncology’s “I Can” campaign (in the integrated campaigns category) and Nobel Laboratories’ “Ain’t Your Momma’s Aspirin” work (in the direct-to-consumer print category).
An Rx Club Award is one of the most prestigious in our industry, which makes these seven awards a very tremendous honor. We thank our clients for their vision and support, and the Rx Club for its recognition.
In addition to winning these awards, HCB was also mentioned in an article on PharmExec.com about The Rx Club’s 25th Anniversary. Read Creative Director (Copy) Mark Gillmore’s response on incorporating shifts in culture.
